Fun FactWhen I was twenty, I spent a year backpacking around the world. That sparked my interest in the diplomatic profession: trying to see other countries and my own country through the eyes of others and explaining to others why we are the way we are.

Rüdiger von Fritsch is a german diplomat in retirement. His CV is dominated by principal political roles, such as being the head of policy planning of the federal president or as vice president of the national intelligence service.

From 2007 – 2019 he was employed by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. Those 12 years include nine years of being the ambassador in Russia. He published a book about his experiences working at the Federal Foreign Office.

Getting to know about his diverse and unique experiences will be no less than impressive.
