Dr. Jakob Fischer
Jakob is a Senior Partner in the Munich office of McKinsey & Company. He was leading the global Petrochemical service line of McKinsey for multiple years and he is now leading Chemicals and Agriculture sector for EMEA as well. Jakob was recently based in Tokyo for 3 years where he was leading the Chemicals and Agriculture sector as well as the Global Energy and Materials Operations activities in Asia.

Education/prior work experience
Jakob Fischer holds a degree in Chemistry from the „Technische Universität München“ where he also completed his PhD thesis in 1996. Before joining McKinsey he was working several years for chemical companies in Germany – e.g. BASF. Co-owner of ~ 20 patents. Author of several publications.
