Daniel Holz joined Google Cloud in October 2020 as the regional vice president for the north european region. He oversees the ongoing development of customer-centric solutions and services in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Central Europe.

Previously, Daniel spent 12 years at SAP where most recently he served as the Managing Director of SAP Germany. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership positions in Europe and the emerging markets, including Senior Vice President of Discrete Manufacturing & Automotive, Managing Director for SAP Turkey, Chief Operating Officer for EMEA South as well as Area Vice President at SAP Russia. Earlier in his career, Daniel worked at Siemens Nixdorf, Oracle and IBM.  

Throughout his 25+ years of experience in software solutions, he also gained deep expertise in strategic sales excellence, organizational transformation and enterprise software architectures. 

Daniel received a doctorate from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, holds a Master in Business Administration from the Goethe University in Frankfurt,Germany, and completed a custom program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management, Boston. 

Daniel is married and lives with his wife, children and his dog in Frankfurt. In his free time, Daniel likes to spend time with the family, cooking and reading. He is a keen runner and enjoys skiing too.
