Biography

Steffen Seifarth serves as the CEO of Mäurer&Wirtz since September 2017. Under his leadership the top 3 player in the German fragrance market has developed into a dynamic challenger enjoying solid growth driven by both, portfolio and geographic expansion. He has managed to turn the company‘s portfolio of own brands (4711, Tabac) and license brands (Baldessarini, s.Oliver, Betty Barclay, Otto Kern) into a powerful mix of tradition and innovation.

In the course of his career Steffen held positions at Procter&Gamble, Bertelsmann and Coty, where he served as a Regional Vice President Central- & Eastern-Europe.

Being a graduate of EBS from 1993, Steffen is also one of the founders of the EBS Symposium. Together with Alexander Böhler and Peter Schmitz he devised and implemented the idea of a 3-day event under the impression of the German reunification in the year 1989, titled „Deutschland – ein neu zu definierender Begriff“.

As a certified coach and experienced mentor Steffen is convinced that „uncovering and overcoming the barriers in our own minds“ is an essential step in creating a successful and sustainable future for our professional and private life as well as a positive tomorrow for society as a whole.
