BCG senior partner Carsten Kratz led the firm’s management team for Germany and Austria from 2013 to 2019. Since April 2019, he serves as Chairman for BCG in Germany and Austria. As vice president, he is part of the board of the Senckenberg Society for Nature Research. Given his passion for diversity and innovation, he supports as head of the jury the initiative #Top100Frauen, founded by BCG and manager magazine to support women in leadership. In addition, Carsten Kratz is committed as chairman of the JOBLINGE Foundation, an initiative to address youth unemployment. In his hometown Frankfurt, he also serves as a member of the Städel Committee and of Economic Initiative Frankfurt. He supports the football club Eintracht Frankfurt as an advisory board member.
In his consulting role, Carsten Kratz works with clients in various industries, like airline, automotive, building and construction, energy, industrial goods, private equity, public sector, as well as services industries. His projects centre on digital and analytics, strategy development, operational efficiency, organisational development, restructuring programs, M&A, and post-merger integration.
